The song, Children of Immigrants details a narrative that weaves into the fabric of American identity. An identity which features a country of immigrants. Specifically, Ayo gives insight into his story as an immigrant with parents who sought America out for better opportunities for themselves and most especially their children. An appreciation for such sacrifices is one of the driving forces behind Ayo's character and ambition:
